It’s one thing to be gifted something. But it’s an altogether ethereal thing to be gifted something that makes you feel understood for who you are. And if anything says “you are seen,” it’s an insightful zodiac-themed reminder of what is most appreciated about the person. The following astrology gifts will land in a far more aligned fashion than anything else you could be tempted to panic purchase for the astrologically inclined. And who knows? In addition to surprising and satisfying the recipient, they may even bring an additional measure of self-appreciation. And isn’t that sorta the point?

Most Aligned Astrology Gifts for Every Budget

2025 Astrological Planner

$49 at Magic of I

Each year, Magic of I releases an updated rendition of its annual astrological planner, and its current iteration is essentially 284 pages of nirvana for anyone enamored by the cosmos. The aesthetics alone could incite swooning with its haunting illustrations and holographic gold gilded edges. Yet it’s the wisdom contained within the pages that feels like its drawing you to its orderly listing of transits, lunar phases, retrogrades, and eclipses. Intended to demystify “ancient narratives and celestial stories,” the planner not only tracks, it teaches. There’s everything here needed to explore astro-mythology, cycle tracking, moon planting, the correlation between the zodiac and tarot, and more. More than anything, it incites a regular awareness of the fluctuating vibes of the day as relates to the planetary placements. The makers assert the planner is “Imbued with magic, crafted with intention.” It certainly feels it.

Zodiac Wall Art

$8 at Etsy

Exquisite line art drawings capture the highest vibes of each sign. Designed by Monica Gonzalez Art, the mesmerizing designs double as a meditative place to focus your gaze when overwhelmed, anxious, or irritated. Loosely focus on the art and allow your gaze to go where it will or, conversely, specifically trace the lines with your eyes and become lost in its inner workings. Each design is a digital download, rendering it ideal for an eleventh-hour gift (or, if you’re gifting it to yourself, immediate gratification for your auramaxxing). The designs can be printed in an array of sizes up to 24 by 36 inches.

Slip Sleep Masks

$60 at Slip Button $60 at Amazon

“Beauty sleep with benefits” is how the makers of these silk sleep masks describe what results from the sleep assistants. They’re not wrong. The masks boast vibrant and exquisite patterns and double as eye pillows for a similarly luxuriant restorative yoga experience. Sometimes quieting your racing thoughts long enough to rest happens more easily when there’s some luxuriance at play (wouldn’t you agree, Taurus?). Equally soothing is knowing the mask maker, Slip, is a supporter of the nonprofits Women for Women International, One Tree Planted, and Baby2Baby.

Sun & Moon Tarot

$18 at Amazon

Originally released in 2010, the Sun & Moon Tarot by illustrator Vanessa Decourt presents what one online reviewer describes as “the wisdom of the Thoth deck in a more whimsical and accessible manner.” Her vibrant illustrations draw on a multiplicity of cultures and belief structures, including astrology, Hinduism, Egyptian as well as Greek mythology, the i Ching, and the Runes. And her sensibilities play fast and loose in her interpretations of the major arcana (how can you not love a sword-bearing princess as page?) which feature elemental symbols, Hebrew letters, and yogic symbolism.

There’s much you may not pick up on until your tenth time staring at a card. The individual characters bear no faces or expressions. A subject of some debate online, this absence creates space for you to infer meaning from the expressive body language and complex scenarios, explains one YouTube reviewer in a flip-through reveal of the cards. The guidebook is less lavishly constructed than the sturdy matte cards yet is no less enthralling thanks to its spare and straightforward insights. Available in limited quantities, these cards could be—rather, should be—considered collector’s items.

The Astrology of Love & Sex

$19 at Amazon

Written by Annabel Gat in 2019, this 288-page tome with the subtitle “A Modern Compatibility Guide” upends traditional gender roles in astrology and explores signs at their best and worst, including their tendencies and kinks, throughout the stretch from attraction to actual relationship. Banished from this book are any notions of classic pairings or assumptions. As Gat explains, “You are not your Sun sign. You’re a person; the person you are dating is also a person. People can choose to work through their issues, so believe me, any two signs can get along if they want. There is no ‘star’ rating in this book for signs, summing up how well two signs will get along.” Say it louder for the people in the back.

Constellation Necklace

$40–$74 at Etsy

It’s easy to become so distracted by the noise about astrological personality traits that we forget each zodiac sign traces back to an actual constellation in the cosmos. The Zodiac Coin Birthstone Necklace reminds the recipient that their thought and behavior patterns are created by these ancient star patterns and that they are part a long lineage of celestial magic. Designed by Etsy’s Carla de la Cruz Jewelry, the necklace is hand-hammered in the likeness of a Greek drachma and embellished with the desired constellation and birthstone. The same jeweler also offers several other designs that double as astrology gifts, among them a charming and understated silver Zodiac Charm Necklace.

Teas of the Zodiac

$41 at Handmade Gifts $42 at Uncommon Goods

Each of these 12 loose-leaf tea blends are custom created from hand-picked herbs and botanicals with the intention of balancing a sign of the zodiac. There’s a lesson here, one that’s commonly lost in contemporary astrology, and that’s the array of elements of each sign contained within each human. Taken altogether in varying dosages, these traits and quirks play into the unique constellation of attributes that make you, well, you. That means selecting which tea to sip is a lot like standing in your closet deciding what to wear in the morning. The question to ask yourself is, who am I today?

You Were Born For This

$14 at Amazon

The New York Times best-selling book You Were Born for This remains as relevant to the astro curious as when it was published in 2020. Author and acclaimed astrologer Chani Nicholas explains, in straightforward fashion, some of the less commonly understood concepts about birth charts and shares insights that isolate talents, potential, even self-sabotaging tendencies. Rather than preach preordained traits, the book encourages self-understanding through knowledge as well as self-awareness.

Birthdate Candles

$45 at Birthday Co.

Astrology, numerology, and tarot align in these customized candles that outline relevant symbols, numerals, signs, and traits associated with someone’s birthdate. The candles are made from soy, coconut, and apricot wax along with a slightly different mingling of woodsy, mystical, and floral fragrances for each day of the year. The candle’s burn time of 60 to 80 hours affords the recipient ample time to practice the ancient thought-quieting technique of trataka, or candle gazing, or perhaps they’d rather squint in the light of the flame and read the list of character strengths, vulnerabilities, and relationship personalities on the back label. Remind the recipient to keep what traits they desire and let everything else burn away (metaphorically, of course).

Twist & Spritz Perfume

$44–$110 at Zodica Perfumery $44 at Free People

Fragrance preference is a complex and personal thing. Yet the popularity of these zodiac-themed aromas suggest Zodica Perfumery understands the nuances of our natal charts. For instance, the blend for Capricorn contains refined top notes of Japanese yuzu and white tea, middle notes of green sage and lavender, and a foundation of musk. Gemini, fittingly, has lighter notes of citrus and lily that are grounded by notes of teak and balsa wood.

According to Zodica Perfumery, the formulator behind the blends is a migraine sufferer and especially attentive to the needs of those sensitive to irritating ingredients. All those five-star reviews are pretty vocal in their agreement. Choose from the purse-friendly, 0.27-ounce Twist & Spritz Perfume ($44) or the full-size Crystal-Infused Perfume ($74 for 0.75 ounce and $110 for 1.7 ounces).
